Friday, July 30 – Dinner & Entertainment 8-10pm – Val & James Denn – "The Val Denn Agency was opened in 1994 when Val began booking legendary Texas songwriter, Ray Wylie Hubbard. They had met when she and her husband had opened for Ray. In 1980 Val attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where she studied jazz guitar. While there she met her future husband James. They married in 1982 and formed a husband-wife duo that produced 3 CD's and toured the US from 1982 to 1993." www.valdenn.com

Saturday, July 31 – Dinner & Entertainment 8-10pm – Brian Bourne – "Brian is part of the original touring cast of DRUM! and performs regularly with other well-known East Coast artists including Squid, Rawlins Cross, Morgan Davis and Ron Hynes. he is best known for being the only musician in Atlantic Canada who plays (and teaches) the Chapman Stick - a two-handed, fretboard-tapping instrument on which both hands work as equal partners, striking strings against the fingerboard and playing multiple lines at once. Bass, chords and melody." are performed simultaneously.

Friday, August 6 – Dinner & Entertainment 8-10pm – Shannon Quinn & Tony Quinn – "At 20 years of age, Shannon Quinn is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, dancer and composer. Having been performing with her father, Tony Quinn, for 12 years, she has been featured among many successful recording artists, and in turn has become one herself. In Toronto, recently she has performed alongside Jazz wizard Chris Potter, and performed with Terence Blanchard this March with the Humber College "A" Band. Her most recent performance was in Nashville, TN for the Music City Roots show at the Loveless Barn, co-headlining with artists such as Alison Brown, and Maura O'connell." http://www.myspace.com/shannonquinnband

Saturday, August 14 – Dinner & Entertainment 8-10pm – Marty Franklin & Georges Herbert - "Vibraphonist Marty Franklin has played with jazz greats Maynard Ferguson, Sonny Stitt and Bud Freeman. Georges is no stranger to the music scene either. In the mid seventies, he toured with Anne Murray and later with Ian Tyson's Great Speckled Bird, returning to Halifax to perform on CBC shows such as Denny's Show, The Marg Osburne Show, The John Allan Cameron Show, Sunshine Hour and Coming up Country. Saturday, August 28 – Dinner & Entertainment 8-10pm – Brent McInnis - Brent brings to the stage an evening of gentle jazz guitar, with old favourites like "My Funny Valentine". A romantic evening of music with dinner, at the Trellis Café.

Art Exhibit for the month of JulySuzanne Day & Paulette Melanson – Two Friends and a Bottle of Wine 2010 Paulette and Suzanne are two artists from Boutiliers Point who have been meeting weekly since 2005 to paint and to share a bottle of wine. They are returning for a second summer to the Trellis Café to present their latest works. Come and meet the artists at the Opening Reception on Wednesday, August 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Or drop by anytime between August 4th and September 7th to enjoy a meal surrounded by their art which is inspired by the local scenery.
